Modo Review: A 20 SC Gift Card Floor Is Real, but the Cash Floor Is 100 SC

Modo's pitch to sweepstakes players is a number: 20. Redeem 20 Sweeps Coins as a gift card and you are done, where many rivals ask for 45 or 50 or 100. It is the first thing worth testing, so we read the redemption rules line by line. The headline is accurate, but it is not the whole story, and the cash floor is as high as everyone else's. As with every sweepstakes site, the games are entertainment with a built-in house edge, and the prizes are not income.

What a low floor does and does not buy

The figures below come from aggregated reviews, because Modo's own site served us a location-check wall, not its rules. Gift cards through Prizeout start at 20 SC, with one SC worth $1. Debit card, bank transfer, PayPal and Cash App redemptions start at 100 SC, which one outlier source puts at 50. Most reports say playthrough on SC is 1x, meaning you play each coin through once before asking for it back.
